Jootheme is intended, at it's most basic, as a high-quality, high-value Joomla! template creation service. Our aim is to produce a fully-functioning, standard-compliant Joomla! template based upon a source design which you supply to us. In most cases these designs can be replicated 100%. We do not customize modules or components, or produce complex layouts unless agreed by us (or specified at the time of application). Auto-collapsing Module Positions
The great thing about Joomla! is that it offers a bewildering array of layout options simply by publishing and unpublishing certain modules on certain pages. Take full advantage with the option of fully-collapsable module positions. How do they work?
The template code tests for certain conditions on the current active page to determine if certain sections of the template should be displayed, and adjusts the layout accordingly. For example, your home page might have a selection of modules displayed in a right-hand column, but you don't want this column to appear on subsequent pages - collapse-code will ensure the column is not loaded and will stretch your content layout to fill the space. Joomla! provides the facility to add CSS "class suffixes" to modules to provide the user with an easy means to style individual modules loaded on the site. For example, a suffix named "-blue" could output a CSS-style box with a blue background. Class suffixes make it easy to customise the presentation of your website and can be changed in a matter of seconds.

Add built-in CSS style classes to your template to easily add consistent and varied typography styles, from notice boxes and alerts to blockquotes and speech bubbles.
Enhanced menu navigation: Moomenu
 Harnessing the power of the Mootools Script Library, Moomenu adds a real touch of Web2.0 class to any website. Moomenu gives you multi-level, animated, drop-down menus for extended and eye-catching extended site navigation...it's lightweight, CSS-based, and W3C valid. Enhanced menu navigation: Splitmenu
Splitmenu is a lightweight menu system which gives you a second-level menu which is all managed via the Joomla! menu manager. The second-level menu normally appears withn a secondary horizontal bar beneath the main menu, and gives you clean, non-intrusive extended site navigation. See it in action.
Enhanced menu navigation: Suckerfish
Suckerfish menus remain a perfect, solid choice for many websites. Similar in function to Moomenu, Suckerfish adds multi-level drop-down menus but with a reduced code footprint. Suckerfish is entirely CSS-driven, maintaining W3C compliance and SEO. See it in action.
Dual template layout
Many sites demand different layouts for different pages - normally this consists of the landing (home) page having a modified layout to the rest of the site. This generally goes beyond the scope of collapsing modules, when an entirely different layout (but still maintaining the same aesthetics) is required. See an example. One of the awesome new features of the Joomla! 1.5 templating system is the option of template over-rides which allow template developers to have total control of everything that is generated by Joomla!. Joomla! 1.0 uses tables extensively to generate almost all of it's content and modules, a method not hugely popular in this age of CSS and lightweight coding. With this option you can have a 100% table-free template, with some awesome SEO tweaks such as proper use of header tags. The over-rides also include the core modules such as polls and login. An absolute must if your template is developed for Joomla! 1.5.

Am we able to resell the template you've made for us?
In some cases, yes, however for some developments we use non-redistributable code and you may be infringing copyright law if you resell or offer the template for distribution. Please contact us if you need further information. Will you add our template to your portfolio page?
If we decide to, we will always seek permission first. Do you tag a template with your credit?
No. Will you reuse our template for someone else?
No. Our templates are coded specifically for each client. We may, however, use some generic elements again if they are common to all templates. I've lost my template file! What can I do?
Please contact us, we usually keep archived templates as a backup (but this is by no means guaranteed). We highly recommend backing up any template files to CD and storing them for safekeeping. Will you supply us with the sliced source file upon completion?
Absolutely. You can use this to make easy adjustments to the templates graphics after completion (Adobe Fireworks required). I have purchased an HTML/CSS template from another supplier (such as MonsterTemplates), can you convert it to Joomla! for me?
